Dissing Tuatara

Dissing Tuatara collects its inspiration from the three eyed lizard named Tuatara, which reflects in the three characteristic chronographs on the watch. Besides from the eye-catching design, the watch is crafted from premium materials such as scratch resistant sapphire crystal, the Japanese Miyota quarts movement and durable stainless steel.

How the watch works

The crown of the watch has two settings.

The first setting, the first notch in which the crown can be pulled out (1), sets the date on the watch. To set the date, pull out the crown to the first notch, turn the crown to the correct date and then push in the crown to set the selected date.

The time is set in the second notch, where the crown is pulled out completely (2). When the crown is fully pulled out, the time is set and then the crown is pushed all the way back into the watch case to start the watch (0).

The two chronographs on the left of the watch (D, E) function as stopwatches with seconds and minutes counters respectively. These are controlled using the top button on the side of the watch (A), where they are started and stopped. The lower button (B) is used to reset the chronographs. The chronograph on the right of the dial is a 24-hour clock (C). This shows where you are in the day. It follows when the time on the watch is set.

A chronograph clockwork must be calibrated from time to time to reset the chronograph hands.
